• To install Redpeaks is a very simple operation that should not take more than 10 minutes
• Each new release of Redpeaks is 100% backward compatible with any previous version
• Before installing or upgrading Redpeaks, it is advised to read the Release note first.

Before installing Redpeaks, check the Prerequisites

Following steps describes how to install Redpeaks:

1. Install JAVA
   
2. Install Redpeaks on Linux
3. Install licenses
   
4. Install drivers
   
5. Create users
   

• Once Redpeaks is installed, visit http://localhost:8888 or https://localhost:8443 to open its UI
• You can start by applying your license
• Then start configuring your SAP systems connectors and monitoring configuration

• Redpeaks uses plugins to integrate with a third party application:
  • Send alarms and metrics.
  • Send configration items.
  • Send reports
• Go to the Plugins section and create the appropriate plugin
• You can also use plugins to generate email notifications
