• You need an appropriate license for each type of system that you want to monitor
• Redpeaks has 3 license types
  • License for HANA
  • License for NetWeaver (JAVA, ABAP and Web Client)
  • License for Business Object

• A license will define the following:
  • The type of systems
  • The maximum number of systems that you can monitor
  • The owner of the license
  • The host on which Redpeaks is allowed to run
  • Its expiration date
• If a license is expired or if it is installed on an unregistered host, the monitoring will stop.

Note: Redpeaks will generate alerts in case of such situation. It will also warn you if the license is about to expire.

• From the top right side of the screen, click on the Settings icon
• Select the sub-menu Licenses
• Copy paste the license in the text-area

Note: If a license already exist, the last license is replace by the new license of the same type.

• From the top right, click on the setting icon
• Select the sub-menu Licenses
• Copy paste the new license in the text-area

Do not delete the previous license, else systems of same type license will be deleted
