Application startup issues

UI not opening in browser

After the installation is completed, you can't reach the UI via your browser:

  • In your browser address bar, enter a valid url, including protocol (i.e. : http://localhost:8888/)
  • Check the service: Look for Redpeaks service and check it is installed and running
  • Check the application port: Using nestat, check that the configured application port is listening, or not used by another program (Default is 8888)
  • Check java version, it must be V1.8 64 bit version.
  • Check server log file for any errors
