Netweaver dashboard
Purpose
- Netweaver dashboard will be used to display information of NetWeaver devices having ABAP or JAVA instances
- An Overview tab will display top level information such as availability, properties or instances status
- Other tabs are available to manage moe specific data such as jobs or short dumps
- Look for widget descriptions in the general dashboards page
Content
Overview
The overview displays current status of the system
- Availability
- System properties
- Most common metrics of the current day
- Instances status (ABAP/J2EE)
- Client status
Clicking on a metric will open the associated tab if any
Other tabs
| Tab name | Description |
|---|---|
| History | Shows graphs of the most common metrics within the current day (by default) |
| Shortdumps | Shows shortdumps details from a selected period |
| SAP jobs | Shows aborted and executed jobs across time |
| SAP updates | Shows update errors and inconsistencies across time |
| TRFC/QRFC | Shows incoming and outgoing TRFC and QRFC errors throughput |
| SW/HW | Shows current hardware specs and software versions of all installed components |
| Transactions | Show transactions average response times |
| Work processes | Shows work processes usage snapshots |
| ABAP Locks | Shows detected locks within a period of time |
Hints
- Some tabs such as Work processes or SAP jobs have a graph displaying an historical view of the events
- Use your mouse to zoom into a graph to select a narrower period. This will update the underneath tables with data from the selected period
- This helps to drill down to investigate problems detected from a wider view
Once a period has been selected within a tab, it will also be used in all other tabs, so you can also see information from this period.
