This monitor will check process status as seen by the SAP management console, using the SAPControl protocol. It will send an alarm if an expected process is not running.
Create a rule to define the alarm severity to use to notify when a service is not running.
Parameter | Description |

Active | To enable/disable a rule |
Mandatory | If selected, the process must be running. |
Expected processes | The expected process name |
Severity | The severity of the alarm generated if the process is not running |
Auto clear | If checked, the alarm will be cleared as soon as the alarm condition is not met anymore. |
Prefix | This field allows to add custom text within the alarm message. %MSG% variable will contain the actual generated message and can be used such as: “my_prefix %MSG% my_suffix”. By default, tag will be used as prefix. |
Alarm | If checked, this line of surveillance will be used for alarm generation. |
Metric | If checked, this line of surveillance will be used for metric generation |
