In this example, the Administrator wants to give Pro.Monitor user “user1” a read-only permission on group (company) “Agentil”
Step 1 - Creating the Permission Profile :
Create a Permission Profile named “readOnly” and check NO actions and then Save
ATTENTION : Whenever a readOnly (only display feature, no other actions granted) is required remember to create an “empty” Permission Profile
Step 2 - Creating the Authorization Profile :
Create a Authorization Profile - in this example it will be named “readOnlyOnAgentil” -
Step 3 - Assigning Permission “readOnly” to company “Agentil” only
Leave all Profiles rights and View change tracking checkboxes unchecked
Click on Assign
Select “readOnly” Permission profile, “Agentil” on Group and do not select any item on Tag
Add
Save the assignation, save ALSO the Authorization Profile
Step 4 - Associating Authorization Profile “readOnlyOnAgentil” to user “user1”
Edit Pro.Monitor User “user1”
Select “readOnlyOnAgentil” Authorization Profile
Add, Save
Result
Log-in as “user1”
Only data from company “Agentil” (and its Systems, Connectors, Monitors, etc) are visible.
NO actions can be performed (notice that actions are not even present in the menus)
